Chris Anderson, CPA, ABV, ASA

Chris serves as a Managing Director and leader of Intrinsic’s Tax Reporting practice. He focuses on the growth and development of the Tax practice, managing relationships with accounting firms, attorneys, family offices, and high net worth individuals. Chris has significant experience in: privately held business valuation, quantification of discounts for lack of marketability, fairness opinions, and FLP valuation. He has focused on valuation for gift & estate tax planning and business succession planning. Chris leverages his over 15 years of professional experience in valuation and public accounting to advise clients and their advisors in technical valuation issues as it relates to tax planning. His expertise covers a broad range of industries including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing and diversified industrials, construction, cannabis, software, technology, and consumer products. Chris has presented testimony as an expert witness on valuation matters in Colorado and Georgia. Throughout his career, Chris has been involved in over 500 valuations.

Prior to joining Intrinsic, Chris was a Partner at a regional valuation firm for over 10 years. He was also employed as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP. At Ernst & Young, Chris worked in the assurance group performing the annual audits of mid-cap public companies in various industries.
