Luke Van Horn, CFA

Luke serves as a Managing Director within the Valuation practice at Intrinsic and is responsible for relationship and project management across the firm’s private equity client base. He oversees the execution and delivery of purchase price allocations and other financial reporting and tax engagements. Luke has experience working alongside management teams and investors on complex and nuanced valuations within various industries, focusing on the technology, consumer product, and business services sectors. He views every interaction, both with clients and the Intrinsic team, as an opportunity to build a lasting professional relationship and network that goes beyond valuation.

Prior to joining Intrinsic, Luke spent time as a Consultant with Deloitte Advisory. By supporting audit engagements as an internal fair-value specialist, he cultivated a skillset in ASC 805, ASC 350, and ASC 718 for clients in the consumer product, technology, industrials, and healthcare industries. Luke’s previous experience at Deloitte helps bridge the gap between clients and their audit firms, allowing for a more streamlined valuation process. Being passionate about personal finances and supporting the community, he facilitates Financial Peace University classes at his church alongside his wife.
