Dan Kahn, CPA

Dan serves as Co – Chief Executive Officer of Intrinsic. He focuses on the growth and development of the firm, managing relationships and driving value creation across the firm’s private equity clients. Dan leverages nearly 15 years of professional experience in consulting, private equity, and public accounting to advise lenders, strategic buyers, and private equity firms on pre-investment financial and accounting due diligence. His expertise covers a broad range of industries including healthcare, manufacturing and diversified industrials, construction, software, technology, and consumer products. Throughout his career, Dan has been involved in over 250 transactions on both the buy- and sell-side.

Prior to joining Intrinsic, Dan was a Senior Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Plante Moran, where he worked with private equity firms on financial due diligence and financial modeling engagements. Previously, Dan spent several years at Laurus Transaction Advisors, a boutique transaction advisory services and CFO advisory firm. While there, he assisted private equity firms and middle market companies in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence, carve outs, and CFO advisory engagements across various industries. Dan spent several years in the direct investment group at Mantucket Capital, a Denver-based family office, where he was involved in transactions in the technology, energy, and asset-based lending sectors. Dan also served in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young LLP and began his career in the investment banking department at Piper Jaffray. Dan also serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
